Check Your Diet

Caffeine can affect your sleep for up to twelve hours after taking it, so it is essential that you avoid it. Alcohol should similarly be avoided. While it might feel as though alcohol helps you sleep, the truth is that it is more likely to cause you to wake up during the night. Also, it is essential that you get a good balance of fruit and vegetables. Equally, you must avoid red meat if you want to sleep longer and deeply.
